กรรมบถ : course of action; way of action; Karma as the way leading to the woeful or blissful existences.
กสิณ : วัตถุอันจูงใจ คือ จูงใจให้เข้าไปผูกอยู่ เป็นชื่อของกัมมัฏฐานที่ใช้วัตถุสำหรับเพ่งเพื่อจูงจิตให้เป็นสมาธิ มี ๑๐ อย่าง คือ ภูตกสิณ ๔ : - ๑) ปฐวี ดิน ๒) อาโป น้ำ ๓) เตโช ไฟ ๔) วาโย ลม วรรณกสิณ ๔ :- ๕) นีลํ สีเขียว ๖) ปีตํ สีเหลือง ๗) โลหิตํ สีแดง ๘) โอทาตํ สีขาว และ ๙) อาโลโก แสงสว่าง ๑๐) อากาโส ที่ว่าง - a meditation device; object of meditation; the method of inducing concentration by gazing at any of the ten objects, viz., earth, water, fire, air, blue, yellow, red, white, space and light.
กราบ : to bow to the ground; to pay respect by making the five-point prostration; to prostrate.
กามภพ : ที่เกิดของผู้ที่ยังเกี่ยวข้องอยู่ในกาม, โลกเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของผู้เสพกาม ได้แก่ อบายภูมิ ๔ มนุษยโลก และสวรรค์ ๖ ชั้น ตั้งแต่ชั้นจาตุมหาราชิกา ถึงชั้นปรนิมมิตสวัตดีรวมเป็น ๑๑ ชั้น - the sphere or state of existence dominated by sensual pleasure; Sensuous Existence; Sense-Sphere.
พินทุกัปปะ : การทำพินทุ, การทำจุดเป็นวงกลม อย่างใหญ่เท่าแววตานกยูง อย่างเล็กเท่าหลังตัวเรือด ที่มุมจีวร ด้วยสีเขียวคราม โคลน หรือดำคล้ำ เพื่อทำจีวรให้เสียสีหรือมีตำหนิตามวินัยบัญญัติ และเป็นเครื่องหมายช่วยให้จำได้ด้วย; เขียนพินทุกัป ก็ได้, คำบาลีเดิมเป็นกัปปพินทุ, เรียกกันง่ายๆ ว่า พินทุ - a smudge that makes a new robe allowable; dark mark or small black dot applied to a new robe to make it lawful. v. (ทำกัปปพินทุ) to make a robe allowable by applying a disfiguring smudge (by which the owner can identify it); mark with a smudge.
